Get a free digital Steve Ditko Fantastic Giants digital comic!
2022 is turning out to be a year of big change, so why not here at the studio too.
Hench, the new platform and format. I will be focusing more on sharing my process of creating art, books, and the production involved. I will also be sharing other creators’ art, stories, and interviews. Personally, I am more engaged if I am talking about the process of creating. Let me know what you think.
I want to thank you for not dumping me into the spam folder yet, with a free copy of Steve Ditko’s Fantastic Giants digital comic.
Fantastic Giants…
Fantastic Giants is a Steve Ditko extravaganza featuring Gorgo and Konga, the best King Kong and Godzilla knock-offs 1966 had to offer. Originally published by Charlton Comics, this King-Sized 72 page comic featured some of Steve Ditko’s finest work. If you were a kid in 1966, this was the summer monster comic book to own. I recently put together a facsimile edition of Fantastic Giants, for FantaCo. I scanned and cleaned up the pages to make this look as close to what you would have picked up off of the newsstands. The facsimile printed edition was available in stores in early February, and only a few copies are left. You may still be able to get one the few remaining copies at: https://fantaco.net/fantastic-giants/

Upcoming projects:
Margo Intergalactic Trash Collector: The Ultimate Trash Collection is a trade paperback collecting the first Margo series. It will include some new material in the form of 8-10 new pages and art to be included with the book. I am currently working with editor Big Steve Colle to put together the new material to be included. Here are some of the breakdowns before and after my inks. I will be sharing more of this in the months to come. Look for this to launch on Kickstarter this summer.
Shriek Debuts…
t we ended the year with a big Shriek kick-off at the Albany Comic Con on December 12th. In attendance were Keith Haugan, Nate Osborne, and myself, signing books, chatting up the crowd, and talking Shriek 2.
Looks Great, Jim!
Thanks Steve.
