Art Dump!
The Phantom and the Last Con
I’ve spent the past couple of weeks cranking out sketch cards for an upcoming comic show and to post on my website—and man, it’s been a blast getting back to pencil and ink!
The real challenge? Working on tiny 3x2-inch Bristol boards. Once I got rolling, I kept wanting to pile on more and more detail—great idea on a full-sized page, not so much when your brush tip only gets so thin!
Still, as you can probably tell from the art… that didn’t exactly stop me from trying! These tiny 3x2-inch canvases that test every line!
Once I started adding detail, I couldn’t stop… even when my brush tip begged for mercy.
Spooky, fun, horror-rock alert!
A friend asked me to draw one of his favorite performers—Phantom A.D.—and I couldn’t resist the challenge. After sketching a few ideas, I landed on the design you see above.
With Halloween around the corner, a new album, and some wildly fun videos, the Phantom is crushing it on social media. Check him out—you’ll love it!

Closing Out Con Season 2025
Last Sunday wrapped up my final con of the 2025 season — and what better way to close it out than at my favorite hometown show, Albany Comic Con!

On the right — some old comic guy with John Belskis (Albany Comic Con promoter), my sister from another mister Janice Chiang, and comic legend Joe Staton!
I had an absolute blast catching up with fans, chatting with friends, and reconnecting with some of my favorite creators. There’s nothing quite like ending the year surrounded by great people and great comics!
Keep Creating,
